The project objective is to help youth and women generate income and provide high quality food nutrients to their families on a sustainable basis. Beneficiaries are trained on improved rabbit production, value addition and enterprise management. They are then provided with a start-up kit of 4 rabbits (3 females and 1 male) some drugs and feed for the first 3 months. Latia staff then continue to monitor the health of the Rabbit units and regularly visits the beneficiaries to train them on prevention and control of pests and diseases
