Latia offers short courses & farm visits as a training service to SME farmers and other Agripreneurs keen on deepening knowledge and skills or learning new technologies and practices. These short courses are offered at the Latia model farm but could also be carried out onsite at the clients’ farms or other agribusinesses. The courses cover topics in production, marketing, value addition, labour management, farm financial management, agribusiness investments planning and analysis, certification etc.

Giving youth knowledge & practical skills for gainful employment in Agriculture.

Agriculture Apprenticeship is an annual program at Latia for the youth. An ideal way of learning while working at a farm enterprise. Participants attain a Certificate of Competence. The practical training is offered at the Latia model farm in Isinya, Kajiado County and later in a diverse mix of collaborating farm enterprises and other agribusinesses in Kenya.
